Asparagus

My neighbour planted these in the Passion Fruit shade cover. At first I thought they were ferns cos' I couldn't see the resemblance to the kind of asparagus I see in the supermarket. Now I see skinny new shoots coming out of the ground. The ones planted in bright sunlight are not doing well. I understand that once planted in the ground, these asparagus ferns will supply new shoots for seven years! So the CG will get seven years supply of asparagus shoots LOL. Let's see how they grow.
