Succulent Dishes Updates

Some updates .... they seem to be doing OK. They have been growing for the past three months. Had to take away those that didn't do too well and replanted some others to try again. Let's see how they do again. In time to come I know some in the dishes will overgrow again ... then it's trimming time.

Succulent Dishes Again !

I checked the post when I last did up the succulent dishes and found out that it was more than a year ago. Looks like it was time to redo them cos' some plants had died and some just overgrew and took over the whole pot leaving others no chance to survive. This time I had more plants to 'play' with and had some earthstars to add to the combination of succulents.

Succulent Dishes

I revamped the succulent patch cos' it was growing wild and weedy. Put up these two succulent dishes for the smaller plants.

Succulent Dish 1
The pic below was taken last week and this week when I checked the dish the two Kalanchoes have disappeared. Looks like snails had a feast with the Kalanchoes. Somehow the pebbles don't seem to deter snails from crawling into the dish and they sure know what succulents to chew on. Now got to patch up that empty spot.

Succulent Dish 2
This is still intact and I put the Earth Star there to see how it does in the dish at the growing area. So far so good .....

Succulent Patch

..... and the Dracaenacea too. This is an accidental patch created cos' my neighbour moved the two medicinal herb cactii to this plot. After thinking about what else to plant .... it was decided to put plants with the same kind of water and sunlight requirements at this plot. Hence the CnS Patch is borned.
