Updating the Adenium blooms in the CG .....
They have been growing here for about a year and the recent hot spell forced them to bloom.
This blog charts the journey of my gardening experience in a Community Garden.

Adenium Update 17th Month
Finally after waiting for 17 months the first signs of an adenium bloom surfaced. I believe there are a couple more coming up too. Rejoice!
Just for the record .... this batch of adeniums had undergone a couple of times being botak because of caterpillar attack. This is especially so during the rainy season cos' usually after the rains the butterflies would come to lay their eggs on the leaves.

Adenium Update 5th Mth.
Here's an update about a month later ..... the seedlings have branched off after getting their top chopped. Oh how I love the bushy leave effect at this moment. They do look kinda cute. I heard that it takes about nine months for the plant to grow from seedling to the flowering stage. So I got to wait till about end Feb. 2010 before I can see any flowers from mine ... that is if they can survive till then.

Adenium Update 4th Mth.
I participated in an adenium growing project organised by the GCS forum group. Received the seeds and germinated them in May this year. Five of them managed to survive till this growing stage. The seedlings here were four months old and they had just shifted to a bigger 'house'. Will be putting them in the CG to receive full sun for at least half a day ... rain or shine.
