Solo Black Beauty Melon

It's been a couple of months already and the solitary black beauty melon managed to survive till this stage of flowering. I have only one vine here and I don't know what are the chances of getting fruits. But I'm letting it grow to see what happens next :-)

Variegated Tapioca New Location

At the new location, the variegated tapiocas have settled well and are producing new leaves and getting bushier too. On the same plot they have pretty leaves for neighbours :-)

Costus is growing!

The Costus under the Passion fruit shade has definitely grown a lot more leaves. Now I can't wait to see the flowers.

Morning Glory Flowers

The flowers of the Morning Glories I planted in the CG have been blooming quite a while. Sometimes I capture them too early or too late .... and I can't see the full beauty of the flowers.
It's always nice to see the full flower blooming ..... And it's frustrating too when I can't find the seed pods of these beautiful flowers ..... or have I missed them totally when I examine the plant?
Strange, strange ..... seed pods, where are you?

Wormery at the CG

Here sits the wormery from Greenback .... costs $200.

My neighbour feeds it with fresh vege cut fine into the tray. Now here is a peek of the tiny little worm doing it's work.

Below is the treasured compost. I could still see a couple of wrigglers still although my neighbour says that they are supposed to migrate upwards into the second tray once the composting work is done and fresh vege is supplied in the second tray.

Dual Color Mirabilis and Orange Ones Too.

This is what I found one morning on the planter bed where I am growing the yellow mirabilis. A bicolor flower due to cross pollination of two different colors or is it something else. Even the red mirabilis flower is a new color too cos' I remember I didn't plant any of this color. So does this mean the pink and yellow cross to get this new reddish color? I was actually germinating the yellow and orange ones on this planter bed. A couple of days later I found the yellow flowers blooming. Will add in the pic later.

CG Fence of Morning Glories

It has been seven months since the Wild MG has been planted at the fence and my dream of the fence being covered by the vines is getting there. It's just that I see more green than the color of the MG flowers on the fence and the wild one has already overtaken the dainty pink MGs growing on the same fence. Luckily I saved some seeds and hope to plant them somewhere else in the CG.
