Giant Yams in the CG.

My favorite CGer here planted the Giant Yam plants here when it was only less than a long ruler length. It took more than six months of growing to reach human height. Looks like it will still be a while before we can harvest the tubers. Meanwhile more baby yam plants seem to be sprouting out from the patch. I found out from the internet that the tubers are huge and they don't look anything like the ones we buy from the supermarket. I am so looking forward to this.
